The Military Police of Paraná (PMPR), through its Officers and Soldiers, conducts various processes and administrative procedures with the aim of investigating irregularities of an administrative nature (disciplinary transgressions) and military criminal offenses (military crimes). However, due to the necessary respect for adversarial proceedings and broad defense, many of these procedures end up becoming time-consuming, and the desired procedural speed becomes an ideal that is difficult to achieve, even with the commitment and good will of everyone involved. Given this scenario, the article proposes the implementation of the Disciplinary Administrative Transaction as a complementary mechanism to the Disciplinary Transgression Investigation Form (FATD) regulated by Ordinance No. 339/2006. This Administrative Transaction would have the objective of speeding up the resolution of light and medium disciplinary infractions without affecting honor, decorum or military modesty, and must be supported by specific regulations. The article, through its bibliographical review, showed that several authors defend a Disciplinary Administrative Transaction mechanism, which aims to speed up the investigation of disciplinary transgressions of a medium and light nature.
