Abstract

This article brings reflections qualitative study from a that aimed to analyze and reflect on the educational processes experienced in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The object on screen consists of a semi-structured research with two educators and a student from Special Education. The research brought to light the challenges that education faced. That the absence of equipment, internet and the unpreparedness of educators was not a reason for accommodation, but for reinventing and adapting their practices to this context that the pandemic brought to people's lives. The study also presents how assistive technologies were evident and essential in the teaching and learning process of these students.
