Abstract

The phenomenon of globalization has driven successive transformations in production methods and social relations, accompanying the advent of industrial revolutions, which culminated in the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution. This revolution is marked by rapid technological advancement and the convergence of physical, digital, and biological technologies, bringing profound changes to economic, social, and institutional structures. Along this path, the digital age represented a fundamental milestone in the development and expansion of the technological innovations that now characterize this new stage. The Brazilian public sector, particularly the Judiciary, has been significantly affected by disruptive innovations that are increasingly being integrated into court activities. Addressing the impact of incorporating these technologies in judicial services, with a focus on artificial intelligence, this text aims to analyze, using the deductive method, the advantages and risks arising from this process. By discussing these issues and the initiatives implemented in the judicial system, the study also examines the need for adaptation and regulation in the face of these ongoing changes and those yet to come.
