This article aimed to review the effects of testosterone replacement therapy on improving the quality of life in men, focusing on conditions associated with testosterone deficiency, such as hypogonadism, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and prostate cancer. The methodology employed was an integrative literature review, with research conducted in databases such as PubMed and BVS, analyzing studies published between 2020 and 2025. Thirty articles were selected that investigated the efficacy of testosterone replacement therapy, including randomized clinical trials and observational studies. The main results indicated that testosterone replacement therapy leads to improvements in sexual function, body composition, emotional health, and a reduction in depressive symptoms. Furthermore, combining it with physical exercise showed even more positive results, such as increased muscle mass and reduced visceral fat. However, therapy also presents risks, such as worsening of prostate conditions and an increased cardiovascular risk, making strict medical supervision essential. It is concluded that, despite the significant benefits, testosterone replacement therapy should be personalized and carefully monitored to minimize risks and maximize clinical outcomes.
