This article aimed to assess the role of dermatofunctional physiotherapy in promoting aesthetic and functional health through a narrative and descriptive literature review, based on scientific articles from BVS, LILACS, and SCIELO databases published between 2015 and 2025. The methodology employed qualitative analysis using the PRISMA method, focusing on therapeutic techniques, clinical benefits, and psychosocial impacts of this specialty. Prominent techniques include manual lymphatic drainage, radiofrequency, therapeutic ultrasound, and endermotherapy, showing positive effects on skin texture, edema reduction, and collagen stimulation. Beyond aesthetic benefits, there was significant improvement in patients' self-esteem, body perception, and overall quality of life. It concludes that dermatofunctional physiotherapy is essential as it integrates health and aesthetics safely and effectively, promoting not only physical but also emotional results, thus reinforcing its academic and professional relevance.
