PLAY AND PEDAGOGICAL TEACHING MATERIAL IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PERITORÓ – MA

When studying the history of Brazilian education, we can point out significant advances, especially since the 1990s with the creation of the current Law No. 9,394, of December 20, 1996, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education. Furthermore, this law is based on our current Constitution of 1988. Although, based on these legal provisions, there have been several changes in the education system over the years, we still need to improve our public education, especially early childhood education, so that we can think of a more inclusive society. Considering that it depends on the school context in many regions of Brazil, there are several precariousnesses, ranging from physical structure, quality teaching materials, lack of professional qualifications, among others.
