Abstract

The evolution of electronic resources in education began with computers and projectors, progressed to online platforms and applications, and today includes virtual and augmented reality. The change involved the adaptation of traditional methods, with the arrival of simulation programs and digital educational materials. Digital tools enhance teaching by making abstract concepts more accessible through simulations and virtual environments. Despite the advantages, the digital environment brings challenges, such as information overload, false data, and lack of supervision, affecting the quality of learning. Excessive use of devices can reduce human contact. Therefore, the general objective was to understand the transformation of the educational environment with the evolution of digital technologies, exploring its benefits and risks for learning. Research on the evolution of the digital environment in education is essential to understand its impact on teaching. Technology has reshaped pedagogical practices, making learning more dynamic and accessible. The study on the transformation of the digital environment in education is fundamental to understand its repercussions on teaching. The present research was bibliographic, based on materials such as articles and books that explore the evolution, benefits, and risks of the digital environment in education. In conclusion, the bibliographic research evidenced the transformation of teaching with digital evolution, highlighting benefits such as accessibility to learning and risks such as data overload. Constant adaptation to technologies is crucial to prepare students for the future.
