Cervical cancer (CC), also known as cervical cancer, is the third most common cancer among women and is caused by infection with the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The neoplasia can manifest with signs and symptoms or be asymptomatic, being screened by oncotic colpocytology examination and is highly treatable if diagnosed early. In view of the current relevance of the disease, the objective of the study is to describe the epidemiology and prevalence in the State of Paraná, observing the factors associated with the increase in this neoplasia through the collection of data from DATASUS in the period from 2019 to 2023, among the age groups from 30 to 59 years. This study highlights the higher prevalence of cancer morbidity in the cities of Ponta Grossa and Londrina in 2023 among the 5 municipalities analyzed in Paraná: Curitiba, Londrina, Maringá, Ponta Grossa, Cascavel. The age group aged 40-49 years represented the highest rate of increase between 2021 and 2023, registering 1,918 cases of morbidity in the capital Curitiba in the verified age groups (30-59 years). Thus, it is essential to understand the prevalence, incidence and risk factors of cervical cancer in order to assist in the management of public health strategies and in the clinical management of the disease, contributing to early detection and unfavorable outcomes.
