This study addresses the management of outsourced contracts at the Santa Cruz State University (UESC), highlighting the challenges faced and consulting strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce risks, and promote transparency in administrative processes. Among the identified challenges are the insufficient training of contract managers and supervisors, difficulties in monitoring contractual obligations, and the need to improve communication between the university and your suppliers. The research proposes solutions based on best practices, such as the implementation of robust monitoring systems, periodic audits, continuous professional training, and the adoption of specific technological tools. It also emphasizes the role of consultancies as facilitators in drafting clear contracts, training teams, and introducing innovations in contract management. The study underscores the importance of a strategic and results-oriented approach to enhance resource management, strengthen institutional reputation, and ensure the quality of services provided to the academic community.
