Resilience is the ability to positively adapt to adversity, transforming difficulties into growth opportunities. This behavior involves skills such as emotional flexibility, perseverance, and learning from mistakes. Transpersonal psychology, which explores the spiritual and existential aspects of human experience, offers an integrative approach to health, aiming not only to treat symptoms but also the deep causes of emotional disorders. Risk factors, such as substance abuse and social isolation, and protective factors, such as social support and physical activity, are crucial for mental and physical health. In education, promoting resilience and emotional development is essential for helping students cope with stress and adversity. Self-awareness programs and mindfulness practices can be integrated into the school curriculum to strengthen these skills. Transpersonal psychology also contributes to a holistic view of health, fostering overall well-being. Applying these ideas in education creates a balanced environment where values such as resilience and self-awareness are crucial for developing individuals who are better prepared to face challenges and live adaptively and healthily.
