Abstract

Among the public policies that deal with the issue of school security, State Law No. 10,129/92 stands out, which, in line with the need to take care of the physical structure of schools in the State's Public Education Network, brought fundamental legal security to the actions already developed within the scope of the State Department of Education and the Public Security Department of Paraná. In this way, the respective standard conditioned the use of existing residences in the network to military police officers, firefighters and SEED civilians, naming them borrowers. This measure contributed to the correct destination of housing, making related administrative acts transparent, and to assist families in need of momentary financial relief and dignity. Therefore, this article aims to record the actions of public agents, military or not, who contribute to the security of such units, making efforts to guarantee the prevention of crimes within their physical limits, through the School Security Program created with the respective Law.
