OUTSOURCING FILE DIGITIZATION IN PMPR: ADVANTAGES AND STRATEGIES FOR EFFICIENT HIRING

Abstract

Document management within the Paraná Military Police (PMPR) faces challenges due to the extensive volume of physical documents, impacting information efficiency and security. This necessitates modernization through file digitization to optimize processes and ensure information access. This study analyzes the feasibility and benefits of outsourcing file digitization for the PMPR, aiming for efficient and secure document management. A literature review on document management, file digitization, and related legislation is conducted, along with an analysis of successful cases in public agencies. The findings indicate that outsourcing file digitization offers advantages such as specialized technical expertise, reduced operational costs, resource optimization, information security, and legal compliance. In conclusion, outsourcing file digitization is a promising strategy for the PMPR, enabling document management modernization, focus on the institution's core activity, and improved service delivery to society.
