This article analyzes the challenges and opportunities of using digital technologies in the school environment, based on interviews conducted with two teachers from different contexts. The research explores how technologies are being integrated into teaching, the difficulties faced by teachers and perceptions about the impacts of these tools on student learning. Through the interviews, obstacles were identified such as inadequate infrastructure, resistance to the use of technologies and socioeconomic inequalities of students, which directly impact access to digital tools. However, the potential of technologies was also highlighted, such as increasing student engagement and improving the quality of teaching, when used in an integrated manner and mediated by the teacher. The study suggests that a joint effort is needed to overcome these challenges, with investments in ongoing training for educators and public policies aimed at digital inclusion in schools. The research contributes to the understanding of the role of technology in education and the importance of its adequate implementation to promote more equitable and accessible learning for all.
