Abstract

The public schools of the municipality of Serra do Mel, being an educational environment focused on working with diversity and different cultures from the perspective of inclusive education, require a keen eye where the conditions that guarantee access and autonomous participation of all special students and their dependencies and activities of significant formation are perceptible through monitoring and support in a specialized educational service room or multifunctional support rooms. And ensuring these conditions is currently one of the greatest challenges for teachers and other professionals who work in public institutions in the municipality of Serra do Mel in Rio Grande do Norte. Many researchers have contributed with their specific knowledge so that public school spaces welcome differences, without restrictions and limitations, discrimination, and exclusion. Based on this, the present study has the general objective of: evaluating the impact of specialized educational services on the teaching and learning of this public. The specific objectives are: to identify barriers and challenges faced by special students and how AEE can help them in this process. To explore pedagogical strategies used by teachers. To raise awareness about inclusive causes in schools to discuss public policies, while also seeking to analyze the academic, social and emotional progress of students with different types of disabilities in school environments, in order to understand the difficulties and barriers that schools encounter when trying to include students with disabilities in this complementary learning routine. To verify the information in this work, we referenced bibliographical materials such as: AMARAL, AMBROSIN, MANTOAN, FREIRE, LAKATOS, GOFREDO AND OTHERS. Thus, this study complements the idea that the process of organizing, reflecting, comparing and arguing through different educational theorists can contribute positively to the solution or proof of the research results. It is worth noting that interpreting is reading in such a way that the researcher understands or comprehends what is contained in the text and how this can be relevant to today's society.
