This article aims to describe the influence of the training processes of health professionals on the stigmas and paradigms faced in the caring of LGBTQIAPN+ people who suffered violence; Method: A literature review was carried out selecting and debating 6 articles with the criterion of dealing with the violence suffered by the Brazilian LGBTQIAPN+ population in the health field being produced in the last 5 years. Results: Discrimination is often generated by lack of knowledge and culminates in the removal of non-heteronormative people from health environments. Among the various factors of distancing are the psychological violence suffered and health practices focused on the biomedical and heteronormative model. Conclusion: There is a difficulty in accessing public health policies due to institutional violence, prejudice and lack of professional preparation. It is noted, therefore, the need to implement greater workloads dedicated to the subject in academic courses in addition to better qualification through permanent education.
