The article in question seeks to highlight the challenges of educational teaching in Brazilian schools in the 21st century. Emphasizing the impact that continued training in the practice of teachers can have on the academic lives of students. This work seeks answers to the following problem: “How can a teacher encourage his student as a teaching-learning mediator in public schools in Brazil?” With the effective participation of public policies offering constant pedagogical proposals for the teacher to appropriate (qualify) the knowledge acquired to develop theoretical and practical content that increases the student's knowledge, consequently favoring the Educational Development Index (IDE) which aims to measure the quality of education in schools in Brazil.
