This article seeks to investigate how interdisciplinarity contributes to the teaching of deaf students in regular school spaces. To answer this question, the study aims to reflect on the importance of interdisciplinarity in the construction of learning for deaf students. The research method adopted is a reflective theoretical study, based on theories about interdisciplinarity and its implications for deaf education. The results indicate that interdisciplinarity enhances the teaching-learning process by allowing the development of strategies that promote a comprehensive and contextualized education for deaf students. This approach aims, among other objectives, to effectively manage the educational process and develop conceptual abstraction skills. In short, this theoretical research makes it possible to conclude that interdisciplinarity has a direct impact on the formation of knowledge, dealing with fundamental themes for the teaching process. When pedagogical strategies are structured in an interdisciplinary way, they make relevant contributions to the promotion of quality teaching, offering a more unified and efficient education, especially aimed at satisfying the demands of students.
