The purpose of this article is to understand how interdisciplinarity is a very important practice for the level of learning, focused on reading and writing, aiming to break down the barriers with disciplines closed to each other, without dialogue with each other. It can be successful when there is unity in the school group, consequently when the various disciplines are put at the service, in an integrated way, for a greater good, seeking in the theoretical foundations, to understand the importance of interdisciplinary practice in the literacy process, working in an integrated way with interconnected activities, as well as through practical experiences, where they can lead students to develop their learning as a whole. It is a widely discussed topic, both in schools and in teacher training, as there are still many gaps between theories and pedagogical practices, requiring much study and practice.
