This article aimed to analyze the scientific evidence on physiotherapeutic intervention in patients with cervicalgia, a common condition characterized by neck pain and associated with biomechanical, postural and emotional factors. The methodology used was an integrative review, with searches carried out in the MEDLINE, LILACS, PEDro and SciELO databases. The inclusion criteria included full articles published in Portuguese and English in the last ten years, excluding non-systematized reviews and irrelevant studies. The main results demonstrated the effectiveness of several physiotherapeutic interventions, such as manual techniques (mobilization, muscle energy and myofascial release), electrotherapeutic resources (ultrasound and TENS), laser photobiomodulation (PBM), as well as kinesiotherapy with supervised exercises and approaches based on the biopsychosocial model, which help to reduce anxiety and kinesiophobia. The studies showed significant improvements in pain reduction, increased cervical function and improved quality of life for patients. It is concluded that physiotherapy intervention is a safe and effective approach in the management of neck pain, promoting pain relief and functional benefits.
