Abstract

This study investigates the challenges faced by mathematics education in a constantly evolving world, as described by Zygmunt Bauman. The discussion encompasses the gap between theory and practice, teaching methods, inclusion, teacher training, student performance assessment, and the use of artificial intelligence in education. The aim is to reflect on the relevance of mathematics education today, highlighting the need for a critical and flexible approach.
