This research addressed a topic of great relevance in contemporary times, with the increase in technology and globalization, living in the digital age, people are increasingly connected, the use of electronic devices is something that is part of everyone's life, but it is necessary to pay attention to the damage that they can cause with excessive use, resulting in effective harm to eye health and quality of life. The objective of the research is to describe the impacts caused by the excessive use of electronic devices on the eye health of the new generation, describing educational strategies to alleviate these effects. The methodology used is a systematic literature review, in which the author, through reading articles, medical journals and other periodicals, applied descriptors to better select the material that is related to the topic. The results are based on eight of the main articles used, most of which indicate that the excessive use of screens and electronic devices causes problems to the eye health of the new generation. It was concluded that further studies were needed, with precise data, supporting the variables deemed necessary.
