This study investigated the challenges and innovations in Youth and Adult Education (EJA), focusing on pedagogical strategies for inclusion and the effectiveness of technological innovations. The main objective was to analyze the pedagogical practices adopted in EJA schools and the results of innovations in the learning process. A bibliographic methodology was used, with a review of articles, books, and theses on the subject, seeking to identify the main strategies applied in EJA and the results generated by these approaches. The analysis revealed that, although technological and methodological innovations, such as the use of digital platforms and active methodologies, have generated positive results in student engagement and learning, structural challenges, such as the lack of infrastructure and adequate teacher training, are still significant barriers. In addition, public policies aimed at EJA have shown limited effectiveness, especially with regard to the practical implementation of these policies. The study concluded that, despite the advances promoted by innovations, there is an urgent need to invest in continuing education for educators and to improve the structural conditions of EJA schools. It is suggested that future research should deepen the analysis of the effectiveness of public policies and explore new pedagogical methodologies aimed at inclusion and overcoming educational inequalities.
