This article addresses the inclusion of young people in educational settings and the importance of overcoming barriers that hinder their full access and participation. The analysis focuses on the challenges faced by young people from different social, economic, and cultural backgrounds within the educational system, highlighting the difficulties they encounter in entering and remaining in school. The research also examines practices and public policies that seek to promote accessible and inclusive education for all. The study reflects on the relationship between young people and schools, understanding them as fundamental spaces for socialization, learning, and identity construction. Using a qualitative methodology, based on a literature review and analysis of educational policies, the work identifies the most common barriers encountered by young people and suggests alternatives for creating more equitable and transformative environments. The conclusion reinforces the need for an educational approach that values students' experiences, knowledge, and cultures, promoting an education that favors respect for diversity and contributes to the construction of a more just and equal future. This study highlights the urgency of reformulating educational practices and policies to ensure that all young people have real opportunities for development and integration in the school environment.
