This research arose from the researcher's concern to know the degree of difficulty that students have in some areas of geometry. To this end, this article aims to understand how students develop understanding and establish concepts related to the relationships between triangles, circles and geometric constructions in the classroom. Triangles are geometric figures formed by three vertices, three sides and three internal and external angles. One of the fundamental concepts in geometry is that the sum of the internal angles of any triangle is always equal to 180º. It is a great challenge to work on this subject in the classroom due to the level of difficulty that many students have on the subject. When this is overcome, students develop important skills, such as problem solving, the construction of logical mathematical arguments and the understanding of spatial relationships. We can say that the present research was carried out through the following steps: literature review, construction of the research, validation and application, systematization and analysis of the information produced, in which a qualitative approach of a descriptive nature was used, involving practical activities, observations and analysis of student productions.
