AKKARI, A. Internationalization of educational policies: transformations and challenges. Petrópolis: Vozes, 2011.
The book Internationalization of educational policies: transformations and challenges, written by Abdeljalil Akkari, released in 2011 by Vozes, is composed of ten chapters and has become a reference for understanding educational policies and their internationalization process linked to the assumptions of neoliberalism. In this sense, the explanations about educational policies disseminated by international agencies stand out, redefining the role of the State with regard to national educational policies and, consequently, the practice of teachers, imposing numerous evaluation processes with the purpose of justifying investments and decision-making on national educational policy, especially in emerging countries such as Brazil and other Latin American countries.
