The present had the general objective of analyzing how the organization and systematization of the Mathematics Fair at the Dr. Aristófanes Bezerra de Castro School contribute to the improvement of educational practices and overcoming difficulties in mathematics in the Final Series of Elementary School, especially through use of mathematical games. This is an experience report, based on qualitative research that used participant observation and documentary analysis. The results revealed that the Fair, through its structured organization and use of educational games, such as the integer addition game, multiplication roulette and the Wordwall platform for operations with integers, promoted a more dynamic learning environment. These resources facilitated the contextualization of mathematical concepts, making them more accessible and interesting for students. Furthermore, mathematical games proved to be effective in overcoming specific difficulties, increasing student motivation and engagement, and developing critical and creative skills. The fair also encouraged teamwork and cooperation, contributing to a more collaborative and positive educational environment. In short, the initiative highlighted the importance of integrating playful activities into mathematics teaching to improve students' performance and attitude towards the subject.
