Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterized by deficits in social development, communication, and repetitive behavioral patterns. This study aims to explore the impacts of multimodal therapeutic interventions on the cognitive and social development of individuals with ASD. An integrative review was conducted, covering articles published between 2015 and 2023, consulted in databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and SciELO. The results showed that combined strategies, such as behavioral therapy, sensory intervention, use of assistive technology, and personalized educational programs, promote significant advances in social interaction, communication skills, and executive functions. In addition, early interventions have been shown to be particularly effective, highlighting brain plasticity in critical periods of development. However, challenges include the need for individual adaptations and the limitation of long-term studies. It is concluded that multimodal interventions, when applied in an integrated and personalized manner, represent a promising approach to maximize the cognitive and social potential of individuals with ASD.
