This article presents reflections on the contributions of play in Early Childhood Education. Thus, the work investigated that the use of playfulness contributes to the result of the child's resourcefulness with interaction between teacher. Making the student and teacher, considering that the contributions of playfulness are positive both in the cognitive and motor terms. The objective was to identify how playfulness helps in child development, how productive is the child who learns through play in the Early Childhood Education classroom. This work was based on research carried out, considering that despite a period of technologies, few teachers are qualified to apply content involving playfulness in Early Childhood Education. This theme, which should be frequent for teachers. Kishimoto (1996, p.37) and Almeida (2014, p.39), thus its use is favored by the context, offering opportunity and knowledge. This research has a qualitative methodological approach. This research was based on a questionnaire in a private school located in Escada-PE, with two teachers named P1 and P2 as research subjects so as not to reveal their identities.
