The methodology adopted is a qualitative and quantitative literature review, carried out through a bibliographic review. In this study, the actions performed by nursing professionals in monitoring pregnant women deprived of liberty were analyzed, categorized into five main thematic axes: Prenatal Care in the Prison Context; Assessment of the Psychological and Social Impacts of Incarceration on Gestational Health; Role of Nursing in Education and Health Promotion for Incarcerated Pregnant Women; Challenges in Access to Health Services and Resources; Strategies for Humanized and Comprehensive Care. When analyzing the actions of nursing professionals in monitoring pregnant women in the prison system, the importance of integrated and humanized care became evident. The challenges faced by these women, such as limited access to health services, inadequate conditions and lack of emotional support, highlight the urgent need for interventions that promote their health and well-being. The role of nursing is central in building relationships of trust, in health education and in promoting a welcoming environment.
