Hypertension (HT) is a prevalent condition in patients with multiple comorbidities, representing a significant challenge for healthcare professionals. Effective management of hypertension in such patients requires an integrated approach that considers the interactions between coexisting diseases, risk factors and associated complications. This integrative review aims to analyze current strategies for controlling hypertension in individuals with comorbidities, highlighting both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. The reviewed literature includes studies on the use of antihypertensive medications, lifestyle modification strategies and the implementation of patient-centered care. In addition, the importance of treatment personalization and continuous monitoring to optimize clinical outcomes is addressed. The review also highlights the challenges and best practices in different clinical settings, providing a comprehensive overview of therapeutic approaches in complex contexts. It is concluded that a multidisciplinary management, focusing on individualized treatment, is essential to improve quality of life and reduce cardiovascular risks in hypertensive patients with multiple comorbidities.
