Introduction: Abdominal diastasis in postpartum women is a condition that affects the integrity and functionality of the abdominal muscles, impacting stability and quality of life. Objective: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of pelvic physical therapy as a therapeutic approach in treating this condition, providing guidelines for proper rehabilitation. Materials and Methods: The method involves a review of clinical studies on techniques for strengthening the transverse abdominal muscle and pelvic stabilization exercises. Results: Preliminary findings indicate that pelvic physical therapy is effective in reducing diastasis, promoting the recovery of muscle function, and contributing to patient well-being. Conclusion: The conclusion emphasizes that physiotherapeutic intervention focused on pelvic and abdominal muscles significantly aids in treating postpartum abdominal diastasis, supporting rehabilitation and preventing future complications.
