This study aimed to investigate the impact of educational activities about leptospirosis, developed by Veterinary Medicine students, on increasing knowledge and adopting preventive practices among teachers of different school levels in at-risk areas. The methodology included a literature review on leptospirosis, the creation of specific educational materials such as flyers and interactive lectures, and the application of questionnaires to assess teachers' knowledge before and after the intervention. The results indicated that the educational activities significantly increased teachers' knowledge about the disease and reinforced the importance of prevention in the school environment. The study concludes by emphasizing the effectiveness of health education as a vital strategy for the prevention of zoonoses, highlighting the need to integrate these topics into the school curriculum and expand such initiatives to other vulnerable regions.
