The work aims to analyze the risks and side effects of alcohol consumption in adolescence, highlighting the vulnerability of this age group and seeking to raise awareness about the consequences of inappropriate use of this substance. The article was carried out through the collection of statistical data, case studies and interviews with adolescents, health professionals and educators. These approaches allow for a comprehensive understanding of the impacts of alcohol on young people's mental health, cognitive ability and social behavior. The findings indicate that early alcohol consumption is associated with serious problems, such as dependence and increased risk behaviors. The research highlights the urgency of prevention programs and the need to promote education about the harmful effects of alcohol among adolescents, in order to mitigate the social and health impacts generated by inappropriate use of the substance.
