This study aims to structure the BI system in order to monitor the corporate access panorama of an energy distributor. The implementation was done using Power BI, organizing, transforming and analyzing the data in the DAX and M languages, which generated data for the indicators. The study was based on quantitative research through a single case study, the analysis of the concrete records of employee access to Business Intelligence reports and their use sought qualitative measures. For this purpose, the approach was classified as descriptive-exploratory. Given the presented reference, users were interviewed through questionnaires and interviews with a sample within the population of employees at different hierarchical levels and departments aiming at consumption and specific needs and usability of the dashboards. Data collection was then carried out through structured questionnaires, to obtain an overview of effective patterns of the information recorded and perceived by employees. Thus, the results show that the BI solution not only simplified access control and regulation, but also provided users with a well-accepted interface. The results indicated that the BI system facilitated access control and was well received by users, highlighting the need for additional customization in reports to meet the specific demands of each sector and reinforcing the importance of a mixed approach in analysis.
