This article proposes the analysis of a flexible packaging company, which does not have work procedures and production control, a fact that is detrimental to the judgment of its results. It highlights the importance of managing using scientific methods, with the help of quality management tools and methodologies, to improve process control and aid in decision making. The development of the research addresses the identification of problems through a case study in the company, using the Ishikawa Diagram tool to define root causes, counting on the engagement of employees and senior management to create improvement proposals that help in the better company performance. It supports the relevance of promoting a managed structure in an organized and simplified way based on the application of the 5S tool in the production process and the maintenance and control of results through the PDCA Cycle. Finally, it highlights how the application of quality management methodologies can promote significant advances in the company's processes, awakening a culture of continuous growth, strengthening itself in the market, highlighting the importance of these methodologies for efficiency and competitiveness.
