The lack of intuitive systems for neurological assessment in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) represents a significant barrier for healthcare professionals, compromising the efficiency and quality of care. This article presents the development of Neural Reports, an application for neurological assessment of ICU patients, with a focus on user experience (UX) design. The case study highlights the importance of intuitive and accessible interfaces for healthcare professionals in high-complexity environments, where quick access to clinical information is crucial. The front-end was developed using the Flutter framework, while a Spring Boot API was employed for the back-end, ensuring scalability and performance. The qualitative methodology included interviews with 22 healthcare professionals, including physicians and residents, to identify key usability needs and challenges. The results show that 86.3% of participants reported a positive experience with the application, demonstrating that UX improvements are essential for optimizing care in ICUs. It is concluded that enhancing user experience in medical applications represents a significant advance in digital health, with a positive impact on the quality of intensive care.
