THE IMPORTANCE OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE BUSINESS LOGISTICS PROCESS IN THE COMPANY'S OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Business logistics is an area of ​​management dedicated to organizing a company's production processes, from raw materials to the final destination of the product, aiming to optimize operations related to the movement and storage of products, ensuring that they are correctly available, reducing costs and increasing the satisfaction of the final recipient. Thus, it plays a crucial role in the competitiveness and operational efficiency of companies for several reasons, such as cost reduction, improvement in the quality of the service offered, asset management, risk management and sustainability, directly affecting profitability, customer satisfaction and competitiveness in the market. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to address the importance of business logistics in segments other than the transport mode, as an effective means of increasing work efficiency and consequently the demand and supply of the product. The method used in the research was bibliographic, through studies of documents, records or data already existing on websites, books and magazines, using a deductive approach. This made it possible to search for information, which resulted in an increasingly global market, whose business logistics will offer an exceptional service, responding quickly to queries and resolving any problems proactively and quickly, as well as implementing new technologies, being open to adopting the automation of artificial intelligence, improving its processes, identifying opportunities and optimizing innovative solutions.
