This article sought to discuss the importance of implementing comprehensive rehabilitation strategies to improve the quality of life of women undergoing mastectomy, addressing the difficulties faced in the postoperative period, such as lymphedema, chronic pain, and the associated emotional impacts. The research evaluates the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, including lymphatic drainage, physical activities, and psychological support, with the aim of promoting a more complete recovery and reducing the limitations imposed by these complications. Analyzing recent studies (2020-2024), the work examines the interaction of integrated approaches and their fundamental role in maintaining the physical and emotional health of patients, who often face significant challenges to reintegration and well-being in a context where rehabilitation demands are intense. This study reinforces the relevance of a multidisciplinary vision that goes beyond physical treatment, including emotional support as one of the essential pillars for full recovery, offering paths for a more balanced adaptation and reducing the negative effects that affect the quality of life of these women in the long term.
