DEVELOPMENT OF AN APPLICATION TO HELP COMPUTER ENGINEERING STUDENTS IN THE ANALYSIS OF ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS

In the field of Exact Sciences, electrical disciplines are indispensable in the academic curriculum, playing a crucial role in student education. However, many students face difficulties in understanding fundamental concepts and performing the calculations necessary for analyzing electrical circuits. This study aimed to develop an application to assist students in the Computer Engineering program at a university in the city of São Luís, in the state of Maranhão, in the subjects of Applied Electrical and Electrical Circuits, using the Flutter framework and the Dart programming language. As for methodologies, the study adopts a case study combined with an exploratory qualitative research approach, conducted with students in the field. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered to a specific class of 33 students, allowing a detailed analysis of their perceptions. The results showed that there is room for improvement and the addition of features in future versions, as well as highlighting that the application is functional and easy to use, contributing positively to the students' learning process.
