This research presents a literature review on the use of biofeedback and specific exercises to strengthen the perineal muscles in women with pelvic floor hyperactivity, particularly those affected by stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Based on articles published between 2014 and 2024, the research explores how pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT), associated with biofeedback, can be an effective and low-risk alternative for the treatment of SUI, promoting improvements in the quality of life of patients.
