This article addresses microneedling as a therapeutic alternative for androgenetic alopecia, a common hair loss condition among men and women, stemming from genetic and hormonal factors that deteriorate hair follicles. The objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of microneedling in stimulating hair growth, analyzing its impact when used alone and in combination with traditional treatments such as minoxidil. The methodology included an analysis of clinical studies and systematic reviews on the use of microneedling to improve hair consistency and thickness. Based on microneedling’s ability to stimulate collagen production and release growth factors in the scalp, the article highlights its action in revitalizing hair follicles and its potential to enhance the absorption of topical therapies. Results demonstrate that microneedling is safe and minimally invasive, significantly increasing the effectiveness of conventional therapies, adding a complementary and promising approach to the management of androgenetic alopecia. The final considerations suggest that by expanding treatment options, microneedling contributes to a more efficient and less invasive solution for hair loss, offering a significant improvement in the search for effective hair regeneration solutions.
