This article explores the theme of Child and Adolescent Trafficking for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation, analyzing the Brazilian reality. The research addresses how this crime has increased dramatically in recent years, highlighting the causes that contribute to trafficking, how it occurs, and what the consequences are. The problem to be addressed in this study is to know what are the causes that contribute to the trafficking of children and adolescents, how this crime occurs, and why are young people still so unprotected by current laws? The main objective of this analysis is to understand the factors that contribute to the occurrence of the crime, conducting an in-depth investigation into the socioeconomic disparities that influence access to victims and assessing how these differences are capable of impacting. The methodology used consists of bibliographical and documentary research, legislation, official documents such as the Statute of Children and Adolescents, the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Penal Code, books and scientific articles. In order to better understand the subject, this study is based on qualitative, quantitative and documentary research. Furthermore, it aims to discuss awareness-raising measures and legislative changes necessary to strengthen the protection of Children and Adolescents in Brazil against such threats and violence, as well as to promote a safer and more appropriate environment.
