The general objective of this study is to analyze the contribution of pharmacists in promoting health and accessibility for deaf people through a literature review. The methodology used included the analysis of scientific publications between 2020 and 2024, seeking to understand how the inclusion of deaf people in pharmaceutical services can be improved, with an emphasis on communication via Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS). Inclusion criteria were established for articles that directly address the accessibility of deaf people in pharmaceutical services, excluding works outside the period or not related to health. In the development, the study highlighted the historical importance of Libras, its legal recognition in 2002, and the challenges faced by deaf people in seeking health services. Inadequate communication can compromise adherence to treatment and increase the risk of errors. Training pharmacists in Libras and the use of assistive technologies are highlighted as essential to improve care. In conclusion, the need to include Libras as a mandatory subject in health courses was reinforced, so that professionals can offer inclusive and effective care. Continuous training for pharmacists is seen as a solution to ensure equity in the care of deaf patients.
