In recent years, teenage pregnancy has become a highly relevant topic in epidemiological studies due to its social, economic, and public health impacts. In this context, the participation of nursing professionals is crucial, as they play a fundamental role in welcoming, guiding, and supporting young mothers during this challenging phase. The objective of this study is to review the role of nurses in the context of teenage pregnancy, highlighting their importance as educational and comprehensive care agents. This is an integrative review based on works published between 2019 and 2024. Health sciences descriptors (decs) such as "sexual education", "pregnancy", "adolescence", and "nurse" were used in various scientific research platforms. After careful inclusion and exclusion analysis, of the 148 articles initially found, only 10 were selected for the study. The results show that teenage pregnancy presents significant challenges, both for young mothers and for health services. The articles analyzed highlight the importance of the role of nurses, who play an essential role in welcoming, guiding and supporting adolescents in health services, promoting an ethical and professional approach. Nurses perform several tasks in the context of teenage pregnancy, being essential in the process of guidance, clarifying doubts and supporting young mothers. With their ethical and professional actions, nurses contribute to minimizing the impacts of early pregnancy, promoting health and quality of life for the adolescent and her baby.
