Introduction: Teenage pregnancy is a global challenge in public health, demanding effective and holistic approaches, especially within the context of the Family Health Strategy (FHS). Objective: This study proposes an integrative review to analyze the effectiveness of actions developed by nursing in promoting the health of pregnant adolescents attended by the FHS. Methodology: An integrative review (IR) of the literature was conducted, a systematic method that integrates qualitative and quantitative approaches. This method allows the inclusion of studies with different designs and methods, being particularly useful for gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data scattered in the scientific literature. Results and discussion: For this study, seven articles were consulted, distributed as follows: one published in 2019 (14.3%), one in 2020 (14.3%), one in 2021 (14.3%), one in 2022 (14.3%), two in 2023 (28.5%), and one in 2024 (14.3%). These articles were organized into a summary table of information, listing them according to the title of the articles, author and year of publication, country of origin, and journals and databases. The studies highlight the crucial role of Primary Health Care (PHC) in planning and implementing programmatic actions aimed at preventing pregnancy, both at the individual level, through consultations, and collectively, in discussion groups (DG), both in the territory and in the Basic Health Unit (BHU). PHC professionals play a fundamental role in providing guidance on the use of a variety of Contraceptive Methods (CM) to prevent teenage pregnancy. During nursing consultations, nurses consider it important to address issues such as sexuality, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), pregnancy, availability and correct use of CM, and family planning (FP). FINAL considerations: It is evident that Primary Health Care (PHC) professionals, especially nurses, play a crucial role in providing guidance on contraceptive methods and sexual health education during nursing consultations. However, prenatal care for pregnant adolescents requires a differentiated and personalized approach, taking into account the particularities of this group, their specific living conditions, and the need for a more open reception by health professionals.
