Abstract

The management of pain in palliative care is crucial for improving the quality of life of patients with severe illnesses. This study reviews the current literature on pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for pain control, highlighting their efficacy and impact on patient well-being. Research indicates that the combination of various therapeutic approaches, including the use of opioids, anticonvulsants, and complementary therapies, is essential for proper pain management. Additionally, the integration of digital technologies in palliative care is emerging as a promising tool for patient monitoring and support. The need for multimodal strategies and consideration of individual patient needs are fundamental to optimizing pain treatment and promoting a quality care experience.
