This study investigated the advantages, benefits, and risks of the digital environment for education, addressing the issue of the need for an educational model that integrates technologies consciously and responsibly. The main objective was to analyze how digital technologies can be used to improve the learning experience while acknowledging the associated challenges. The research, of a bibliographic nature, reviewed relevant literature on the use of digital tools in the educational process, identifying how these technologies facilitate access to information, promote interactivity, and personalize learning. However, it also discussed the risks of misinformation, distractions, and privacy issues that arise with digitalization. The final considerations emphasized the importance of continuous teacher training and digital inclusion, as well as the need for future studies to explore effective pedagogical approaches in the digital environment. The findings highlighted the relevance of developing digital competencies in both educators and students, promoting meaningful and safe learning.
