The aim of this article is to analyze the effectiveness and practices of combining physiotherapy and music therapy in palliative care for the benefit of patients' quality of life. For this purpose, a literature review was used, with qualitative and exploratory bibliographic research, in articles, theses, monographs, having as sources for data collection Google Academy, Scielo, CAPES Periodicals. Scientific productions published in the last ten years in Portuguese were included in the work, thus excluding articles that did not meet these criteria. It was found that the combination of physiotherapy and music therapy in palliative care offers a complementary approach and potentially capable of relieving pain, reducing anxiety and improving patients' quality of life. It is therefore concluded that the work of the physiotherapist in an ethical, competent and creative performance is of utmost importance, integrating approaches such as music therapy to offer humanized care in the promotion of biopsychosocial well-being, always respecting the individual needs of patients.
