The general objective of this work is to concisely demonstrate the decision of the Sixth Panel of the STJ regarding the right provided for in article 22 of Law 11,340/2006, on the application of the qualification of feminicide in the case of transsexuals. In order to outline the context of the topic, the methodology of legal work will be used, with a deductive method, which will be carried out through descriptive research, of an exploratory type, with an extra qualitative-quantitative approach, based on bibliographical research (doctrines, magazines) and documentary (legislation and case law). Finally, this research is extremely important due to its social and academic relevance, as it highlights the need to protect transsexual women so that society and the legal sphere recognize and equate them with the protection given to biologically declared women.
