The aim of this research was to demonstrate the impact of early physiotherapy interventions on the motor development of children with Down Syndrome (DS) and to highlight the benefits of techniques such as early stimulation, hippotherapy and hydrotherapy. To this end, a bibliographical research was carried out based on the review of 17 scientific articles, which address the main motor difficulties faced by these children and the most recommended physiotherapy interventions. The results show that physiotherapy interventions, especially early stimulation and hippotherapy, provide exercises in muscle strengthening, improvement of balance, postural control and motor coordination. Children who received early treatments achieved significant advances in their functional independence, in addition to a better quality of life. In addition, physiotherapy brought emotional and social benefits, helping in the inclusion of these children in school and social environments. The conclusion of the study highlights that physiotherapy plays a crucial role in the motor development of children with DS, providing not only financial but also psychological benefits. Early and personalized classes, adapted to the specific needs of each child, are essential to minimize delays in motor development and increase their autonomy. Family engagement has also proven to be fundamental for the continuity of therapies at home and the maintenance of the results obtained.
